The Police Department is responsible for ensuring the safety of all residences and businesses within the Town of Morristown. The Morristown Police Department offers services in the form of Vehicle Lock-outs, Title Checks, and Handgun Permits for Town Residents. The Morristown Police Department is available to assist the Shelby County Sheriff Department in Hanover Township when requested and also assists other law enforcement agencies in the surrounding counties. The department has two full-time officers and one reserve officer.
Chief Albrecht is also responsible for the Morristown D.A.R.E. program and teaches at the Morristown Elementary School.
